United Way Cards

I was asked to make some cards for our United Way Campaign at work and these are the ones that I either came up with or cased.

Inking Pink Blog Hop

I'm attending my very first blog hop and it's for one of the most important causes out there Breast Cancer Awareness! I'm really enjoying myself, and I know I'm suppose to post links back to blogs, just trying to figure out how and where, you'd think I would know how to do that since I've been blogging for 4 years! LOL.

Bear with me!

Swing Layout

I took this picture when we were in Cut Knife, SK last month. And I just loved the dress and the old swing so I wanted to keep it a simple layout, I used liv's dress to pick the paper, I think it turned out really nice.

Birthday Card

I've been waiting to use this stamp set for a while, it was perfect for my friends birthday (who's just a bit quirky and has the same sense of humor as me).

Thank You's & Such...

A thank-you card, my very first stitched card too!! I'm a sucker for earthy colors, and I love the patchwork that's going around right now too.

A card I made for a friend of mine to just cheer her up a bit, the tree trunks and the works are stamped using a sparkly olive ink, and then I also used it to ink around the edges on top of the cranberry ink, turned out great!

Valentines Party

Our dayhome is really good about all the holidays we have, and Valentines was no different. They had their party just before the big weekend, so Olivia and I made valentine cards for each of the kids at the dayhome including our dayhome lady and her mom (the kids all call her gramma) And Liv also helped me make pink heart shaped marshmallows. So easy and SO yummy!

All the kids at the dayhome are girls (cept for Carter) so I made them into little purses, my topnote die from SU made it SO easy!

Birthday, Valentines and Thanks.....Oh My!

This is a lift of a card I saw on SC, I loved how the flower was distressed and found it was a really really easy & quick card to do, would make a great template!!!

This is another lift of a SC card I saw, this one is my hubbys V-Day card, loved the splash of red, I didn't have any red sparkly paper so I just heat embossed some paper and punched it out with my heart punch, and then popped them on pop dots. The heat embossed heart at the bottom didn't turn out perfect but it still works.

Another SC lift, I get 99% of my ideas from there or my friend michelle, This one came together pretty quick and I think it's really cute. It's a thank-you card for my dayhome.
