So I finally got around to doing Christmas cards this year, it's been quite some time since I sent any out, and the last time I did I think they were store bought! But I had a lot of fun with these ones, specifically the snowmen as you can see ( I'm a snowman collector!) I abused my cuttlebug profusely with these cards, and I'm in love with my new top note die from Stampin up, thanks to Michelle for getting it to me in time for Christmas!
I like the humor cards a lot
and I liked using the blue and the green for the snowmen, not the bright traditional colors but really nice.
Another humorous card
I wasn't a huge fan of this card but I did get some compliments on it so I sent them out.
A last minute addition, I only made two of these, they were way more labour intensive that I first thought, I used my Joys of the Season Cricut carteridge for the "o" and it was a candy with the wrapper on it, so I cut those off. The inspiration for this card came as I was standing on the train platform downtown waiting to come home and a man walked by with a gift bag that looked just like this, the "o" 's were on big springs, so I put them on pop dots. Love this card!

Recent Cards & Gifts
We've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to post pictures of my latest cards and such.
This is a card I made with an Elzybells set for a friend that helped us find a new dayhome.
And just a couple coordinating canning jars I embellished and then stuffed with scrapping goodies for an extra thanks.
A thank you card I made for our new dayhome, who made our transition so easy, I used the SU Trendy Trees.
A shower card for a friend who's having a baby girl in December, I cased this card off SC, but I'm so bad at writing down who I've cased, sorry!!

Olivia's Card
Photo Book
I also cased this off one of my friends secret sisters projects. It was pretty simple, the basis is 3 regular letter envelopes sealed & cut at 6 7 & 8 inches, bound together so they flip, some coordinating paper and some embellishments, I haven't completely finished embellishing the outside or the inside front envelope. But I won't do that untill I give it to someone and I usually don't remember to take a picture before I give it away! LOL. If you require exact measurements just let me know.
Kid Birthday Cards
This card is for my neighbour's daughter who's turning 2, it's a spin on my earlier card below. I used the Walk In My Garden Cricut Carteridge for the flowers and just staggered two different papers, and used my "cut grass" scissors to make the grass, and some ribbon for the stems and pop dots for the flowers.
Autum Cards
Autum is my favorite time of year, I just have a thing for the beautiful colors and the crisp air. So I was inspired to make some Autum/Fall cards. The Tree I cased off a card I saw on Splitcoast, sorry I can't remember who, but she had done butterflies, and since I don't have a butterfly punch I decided leaves would be perfect....on a tree....duh! LOL. I cut the base of my tree on my cricut using my stretch your imagination carteridge. And the pumpkin card I cased from my friend who is part of the secret sisters on Splitcoast. She recieved a card from her secret sister with a basket weaved with ribbons, so her and I were tossing around ideas of "stuff" to put in baskets and I thought pumpkins would be great. Sadly these aren't actually pumpkins, I don't have a pumpkin stamp and I'm dissapointed that there isn't a Halloween Cricut Carteridge (which I hadn't realized till my friend pointed it out) SO, these are the bodies of turtles with the head & legs cut off from my Walk in My Garden Cricut Carteridge LOL. Worked great tho!

Weddings & Congrats
A friend of mine asked me to make some bridal shower and wedding cards for her. I cased the two bridal shower ones, I saw them and thought they were so simple but pretty. And the congratulations card is actually for my friend that asked me to do these other ones. She just graduated her MBA so I wanted to make her something special!

Crafty Mothers Day!
Seeing Stars
I found a template for this online a while ago couldn't wait to make one, I had a love affair with Basic Grey's 2008 Christmas line so I couldn't help but use it.
My friend Jen does amazing stained glass work and she had me over one day to show me how to do it. It's awesome, I almost want to start doing....along with quilting, and ........so many more!
